Birthday Tribute to Tita Olive
We’re not blood-related but she’s my tita, my tita Olive. Looking at her, one will feel intimidated because of her strong personality (i felt that way before), but when you get to know the real character beneath that facade, you will find out that she’s the complete opposite. Tita Oliveis one of the sweetest, kindest an most loving person i have ever encountered in my life. Going and living here in Canada sure isn’t easy but tita Olive made it a lot easier with her love, warm acceptance and humor. She treated me more than a relative, she embraced me as her own daughter and i am very thankful and very blessed to have her in my life. Of course, there were off moments, but that’s normal. Those moments can never compare to the ones which were full of happiness, joy and laughter.
Tita Olive, if you’re reading this, thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Words aren’t enough to express how grateful i am for having you in my lifetime. I am so lucky to have known you better, to have the chance to see the real you beneath that tough shell you sport everyday, to understand each and every mood and emotion you carry. Thanks to you i have learned so much in this complicated life.
