Nice Food, Good Conversation
Tonight, i got to try Indian food for the first time, and contrary to popular hearsay, i actually loved it! I’m not a big fan of spicy food but the dishes i tried were delish! My fav were samosa and butter chicken, especially the last one, yum!
We sat there, on the table, just four adults (without kids), enjoying great food and having very diverse conversation. Topics ranged from the difference between hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones to the double dipping economy of the United States, to how fast and greatly the technology is changing people’s lives. I didn’t say much but i learned a hell lot of things from those intellectual minds aroud me. It just feels great to hear different perspectives from people with strong views and stands on a single topic. We laughed, dug deeper into something, talked about bad break ups and even the educational systems of Canada and the US. What a night, indeed!
Plus, i met my “bff” Danielle, for the first time (we emailed, texted but never seen each other before). It was great to finally meet you dear.
After the dinner, i realized that i should do these stuff more often. I should socialize more, rather that confining myself on the four walls of my room/house, whichever it may be. I got some things to say, too! Yeah, i’ve decided, i’ll do this more often!
