[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

Jack dancing his heart out! Isn’t he just lovely and adorable? Tell me, he’s got the moves, right? I actually call him my little Justin Beiber coz he’ll sing and dance for me whenever I ask him to. :p

Anyway, here’s a little back story before his undeniable dance enthusiasm. He was at his Bake and Boogie class and all the other kids were getting ready for the Boogie part. The teacher started the music and “choreography” with a couple of songs (including YMCA) but my sweet Jack was still in the play area doing some Play Doh. Seeing that the other littles were having so much fun doing their dance, I went to the corner where he’s playing and asked him why he wasn’t participating in the dance. His straight out answer? I DON’T WANT TO!!

Knowing in my heart that he lives dancing and that he’s just probably shy to join in, I talked to him and to convinced him that he doesn’t have to feel shy about anything. He still wasn’t sure so I didn’t push. What I did was stood with the other kids and started dancing with them. That was so embarrasing but it was a lot of fun, too! When Jack saw me goofing with the dance moves, he started to loosen up and approached my direction. I held his hands and we started dancing together. After a few minutes, I told him that we will show his Mom his dance when we get home and he got really excited. The end result? This awesome video of my favorite three-year old shaking his groove thing.

The end has come! Tonight i watched the second instalment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and it felt bittersweet for me. It was hard to see the series that i grew up with reading come to an end, but it was also exciting at the same time.

I remember the first time i laid eyes on the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone book. It was 10 years ago and i was a freshman university student. I fell in love with it and the rest, as they say, was history.

I’m a big fan of the books, i’ve read all seven of them, some of them more than once. The funny thing though, i never owned any of them. I survived my Harry Potter journey with the help of my good friends who lent me their copies, hardbound or paperback! (Now, i’m planning to buy myself the whole series so i can always go back to Hogwarts whenever i desire.)

Anyway, back to the movie. First off, the kids are all grown up in the last movie. They don’t look anything like kids anymore. Neville is a full-grown man and Luna looked a lot more mature. But i am really happy to see all of the Hogwarts kids in the movie. Moving on, the movie was good but it wasn’t great. The effects were awesome but the production team definitely could’ve done better contentwise. Personally, i wished some of the scenes that made it to the final cut were not there, especially the “King’s Cross station” moment between Harry and Dumbledore. It was a bit too cheesy for my taste. And the kiss between Harry and Ginny was totally out of place. Who the heck would think of kissing in the middle of chaos? Like right in the middle of it, when everyone’s fighting for their lives? And the LOL moment of the entire flick: 19 years later!! They all looked so silly as grown ups especially Draco’s hairline and Ron’s big belly! Ginny looked extra pale as a grown up, too!

Overall, my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows experience was good. Hogwarts and Harry will always be a part of me considering I grew up reading the books. The movies might be over but what the heck? We can always go back to Hogwarts whenever!

I was browsing through our “Red Blogbook” and I came across The Royal Mistress’ note/letter for me before I left the Philippines to try my luck here in Canada. This truly touched my heart.

One part specifically said “May it (blogbook) not serve as a source of nostalgia when your heart is at its weakest but a reminder of what the future might bring…a crossing of paths of The Red Blogbook Sisterhood.”

You are right sir, we will cross paths again. For now, worry no more and rest well. You are in a safe place already. I love you and you will be missed dearly.

I finally got it! Now i need to figure out what to do next. And i have to do it fast! Oh man, i never thought it would be this hard! Oh well, life has to move on. I know greater things are about to happen as i journey to another phase in my life. (Taken with instagram)

Isn’t he so gwapo? Time flies real fast, it’s just yesterday that he was a tiny little baby. Love this dude! (Taken with instagram)

Song for this Holy Week.

I am lifting up everything to You, oh Lord. You have sacrificed your life to save all of us from all our sins. Singing to serve and glorify Your name is nothing compared to what you did for us.

I have loved Juris since her MYMP days. She’s got a very unique timbre and a really good voice, but this song is just something else. It pierces through my insides, it affects me so much like i feel every word of it, especially the the chorus. I don’t know if this is because i can relate to the song or what, but it’s heartbreaking.

Anyway, i wanna share the lyrics to this song and tell me what you think. Do you fell the same as i do or you have any other thoughts?

Di Lang Ikaw — Juris

Pansin mo ba ang pagbabago?
Di matitigan ang iyong mga mata
Tila di na nananabik
Sa iyong yakap at halik
Sana’y malaman mo
Hindi sinasadya
Kung ang nais ko ay maging Malaya
Chorus:
Di lang ikaw
Di lang ikaw ang nahihirapan
Damdamin ko rin ay naguguluhan
Di lang ikaw
Di lang ikaw ang nababahala
Bulong ng isip wag kang pakawalan
Ngunit puso ko ay kailangan kang iwan

Pansin mo ba ang nararamdaman
Di na tayo magkaintindihan
Tila hindi na maibabalik
Tamis ng yakap at halik
Maaring tama ka lumalamig ang pagsinta
Sana’y malaman mong di ko sinasadya
*Repeat Chorus

Di hahayaang habang buhay kang saktan
Di sasayangin ang iyong panahon
Ikaw ay magiging Masaya
Sa yakap at sa piling ng iba
*Repeat Chorus
